I specialize in the repair, restoration, maintenance, and tuning of harpsichords and clavichords. With over 25 years of experience, I work with many types of clients - private individuals, churches, ensembles, and academic institutions - to ensure their early keyboard instruments are in top condition.

I service most types of traditional style harpsichords and clavichords. I do not repair mid-century “Revival” type harpsichords such as Sperrhake, Pleyel, Ammer, Goble, Challis, Rutkowski and Robinette, or most Herz and Neupert models.

If at all possible I prefer to do all work on site, especially for smaller jobs. Larger projects and more invasive or extensive work may necessitate moving the instrument to my shop.

On occasion I will offer Harpsichords for sale by consignment on this page. Please check the link above.

Please contact me with any questions or to schedule a meeting or service.

In addition to repairing harpsichords, I am also a professional performer on the instrument. You can visit my performance website by clicking the button.
